Ljubljana Countryside - Lake Podpeč Cycling Tour

The tour strats in the heart of the Ljubljana Marshes Regional Park, which is just a few kilometres south from the capital. This cycling tour of the Ljubljansko Barje Nature Park is an opportunity to thoroughly explore the unique natural and historical environment of Ljubljana Marshes. We will cycle through the picturesque countryside villages and stop at major local atractions such as St. Michael church, Iška river and Podpeško jezero lake. From the lake where we will stop for the lunch we will continue by foot to visit to the Church of St Anne which has the best panorama of the capital Ljubljana. Cycling is not difficult and is suitable for all ages.
