Munich is famous for its beer and its many beer halls. Join me, a Diplom Bier Sommelier, and dive into the Bavarian Beer scene! We go beyond the Hofbräuhaus and take you to the places the locals visit. I'll explain the many customs, and tell you all about Munich's history: The Bier Riot of Munich, the Beerstein Battle, the Bier and Oktoberfest Museum, and the history of the Sterneckerbräu - all while enjoying the great Munich beer! We’ll explore the traditional Bavarian beer styles of Weissbier, Helles, Dunkles and seasonal beers, as available. In addition to learning about the finer points of these beers, you’ll learn about the Bavarian beer culture, food pairings, and etiquette. You’ll return home with a true education.
