Mindo Cloud Forest Day Tour

Meet your guide and other guests at one of two centrally located departure points in Quito. Depart for Mindo, a beautiful valley located 2 hours northwest of Quito, behind the Pacific slopes of the Pichincha volcano. This tour will give you the opportunity to enjoy a good mixture of both nature and adventure activities.

Once you arrive in Mindo´s cloud forest, you will visit a Butterfly farm and Hummingbird feeders, don't forget your camera.

The adventure continues with a canopy adventure that includes 10 zip lines (own expense) of different lengths ranging from 20 to 400 meters. If you prefer a different activity, you also have the option of trekking across the cloud forest to visit a waterfall and a ride in a “Tarabita”(Cable tram-own expense).

After these exciting activities you will break for an included lunch. As you start your 2 hour trip back to Quito, there will be another stop to view hummingbirds, butterflies and possibly some tanagers and toucans.

Arrive back to Quito between 5:30 p.m. - 6:00p.m.
