Guided Tour of Teide and Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife
Rising to the National Park of Las Cañadas del Teide ( the oldest national parks of the Canary Islands, the most visited in Europe and tenth in the world, and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain) passing through Vilaflor (in the County de Abona), a town 1414 meters above sea level. It is the least populated municipality on the island and has no coast. Here was born in the seventeenth century the first Canarian saint Hermano Pedro .
Then you will go to Puerto de la Cruz. This city was the first to begin tourism in the late nineteenth century, the possibilities are diverse: from the beautiful Martiánez Lake (lakes and pools, work of the great Canarian artist Cesar Manrique ), through to the Plaza del Charco (hub and commercial center of the city), the Botanical Garden or Playa Jardin (black sand, with gardens and shops designed by César Manrique also area). Note that this part of the island, during the nineteenth century, attracted scientists and European artists Sabin Berthelot and Leopold von Buc.
