1. Arrive at Gionji Temple in Chofu City, Tokyo, about 15 minutes walk from Fuda Station on the Keio Line and meet your instructor before setting up the taiko drums. (20 min)

2. Watch a performance by the instructor, a seasoned taiko drummer, and marvel at her exceptional techniques. (10 min)

3. Change into the traditional taiko performance pants samueru.(Please note that depending on your body size, we might not be able to provide you with one.) (10 min)

4. After learning the basic techniques and watching a demonstration by the instructor, it’s time for you to work up a sweat. Divide into groups and practice an assigned piece. (40 min)

5. Top off this unique experience with a final group performance, a perfect opportunity to show off your newly acquired drumming techniques. (10 min)

6. Take pictures to commemorate the experience before changing your clothes. (20 min)

7. Your experience comes to an end.
